Where to buy film in Hong Kong
Have you been to all these shops which they carry different types of film stocks? There is quite a number of shops selling film in Hong Kong in 135, 120 and even large format. It is accessible to different film shooters no matter you are located on Hong Kong Island or Kowloon.
Below is a list of shops you can buy film in Hong Kong and their locations.
Colorluxe Express
Super friendly staffs and they have great knowledge of each film type since they have been up in business since 1997. They are my top choice to buy film in Hong Kong is simply because they offer great processing services and answer all those questions I have during film development and analysing performance from each film.

Classical Camera Shop
They have a great collection of film stock and cameras. What I love most from them is the self rolled cine film including Kodak Vision 3 5219, 250D, Kodak Double-X 5222…etc.

Outputpro Lab
Press the door bell, someone will drop you the key, that’s how outputpro lab works to let every visitors get in to the building. They have wide varieties of film, chemicals and sometimes you might find some rare film. Price is very reasonable.

Camera Film Photo
Every film shooters know Camera Film Photo Hong Kong because they have the most completed film stock from chemicals to tools, papers to camera gears. They are situated in Lai Chi Kok area. If you want to start developing any black and white film on your own check out their film development workshop as well. You can get your starter pack right away in their shop!

They only offer limited film stock but they love colour reversal film and you can view samples from the lightbox and photos from their archives to get an idea on how each film performs.

If you love cats and they have very friendly staffs and best place to develop ECN-2 in Hong Kong if you shoot Cine film like Kodak Vision 3 500T or you want better result on your Cinestill 800T

Dot Well Photo Workshop
Their collection of film is very complete from 135 to 120 film type, such as Fujifilm, Kodak Ektar, Portra and colour reversal film as well as some small brands from the world! Its location is very convenient and it is only 5 mins walk from Tsim Sha Tsui station and they are right behind a camera shop.

Meteor Hong Kong
I bought my first camera and lens from Joseph. They offer different film stock and Joseph has great knowledge of black and white development. If you love black and white film and would like to start developing it. You may find useful information from him as well as the tools and equipment that you need.

Sham Shui Po is another nice area to shoot. If you shoot around that area check it out they have basic film types for 135 and 120.

Another option for film lovers in Hong Kong. They have two shops, one in Mong Kok and the other one in Causeway Bay. I got some cheap Kodak Ultramax 400 from them before.
