Faces Of Your Cameras – Leica M10-P and Summilux 50/1.4 II
A small local photo exhibit at a cafe captured my curiosity in photography. Coincidentally, it was a large print of two individuals sitting in a cafe that left the biggest impression. ‘Would I be able to achieve this one day?’ To capture how I saw the world and invoke emotion upon the viewer.
The M10P is classically designed like its predecessors and with the silver accents it was perfect. In an age of autofocus, I found the idea of using a rangefinder romantic; however, without being too archaic, I also wanted digital format and a touch screen. I then chose a 50mm/f1.4 and this is what I use today.
I haven’t started photography for very long but I aim to come back to the question at the cafe that started it all and confidently answer, ‘Yes’. – by Jeff
