Pour and Twist – A Surprise Coffee Meet in Wellington
“Don’t plan it all, let life surprises you a little.”
After a refreshing morning shower, my wife and I googled and found this cafe rated the top in Wellington. To begin with our city exploration, we need caffeine.
We ordered two different hand-brewed coffee then I took out my Makina 67. Zuyi, the owner of the cafe, immediately recognised this medium-format camera. Cameras connect people, and photography is a universal language that brings us even closer.
I am surprised the cafe owner actually read this blog and is also a serious film shooter. While enjoying his nice hot brew coffee, we started talking about cameras and films. He showed me the Rolleiflex 2.8E he recently bought.
All cafes close at 3 pm, so we went for a Photowalk! Thank you so much for showing us the city and recommending a lovely dinner restaurant. Let’s keep this film community and enjoy using film. 🙂
Best coffee in my NZ trip!
